This paper examined the economy of Niger Delta, militancy, and class struggle. Taking a cue from Marxian theory, relationship between avowed agitating stance people Delta perceived economic sabotage by ruling that militate against regional development was examined. Sitting on Gulf Guinea is sprawling coastline region, spanning 70,000 km2 gulping total 7.5% Nigeria’s land mass. Lodged within its terrain huge deposit natural resources. Containing over 20 billion barrels oil reserves staggering worth 3 trillion cubic meters gas deposits, region contributes about 95% to foreign exchange index. Yet, Region disparaged lacking in development. has forged cohesive bond growing rate militancy insecurity terrain, prompting continuous struggle for control discontinued resource racketeering. Utilizing secondary data content analysis as method collection well Frustration Aggression observed 13% derivation fund allocated oil-producing states not bridged overwhelming gap impoverished resources exploited terrain,. The recommends amongst others Government should review policies are tandem with dynamics set up structures will provide required dividends due region.
